Famous Hollywood director Jonathan Demmy will be awarded for his work in film and television at the 49th Cinema Audio Society (CAS) Filmmaker Awards ceremony in February next year.
This prestigious film award ceremony will take place at Crystal Ballroom at the Millennium-Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
The 68-year-old Oscar winner participated and directed the filming process in more than 30 films, including Philadelphia, Rachel Marries, and Silence of the Lambs.
CAS President David Fleur said: “We are very pleased to honor Jonathan Demmy. For 40 years of acting as a director, producer, and screenwriter in film and television, Jonathan has shown incredible talent for creating feature films and documentaries. ”
Demmy won the Oscars for the Silence of the Lambs film in 1991. And thanks to the work on the film Philadelphia, Tom Hanks also received his Oscar. Now Jonathan Demmy runs his own production company, Clinica Estetico.
