Child psychiatrists believe that babies should not read the tales of the Brothers Grimm. And that's why.

A collection of unedited tales by the Grimm brothers was recently released in the UK. These are the magic stories of German storytellers that came out 200 years ago. It turned out that the long-haired Rapunzel sharpened in the tower became pregnant from the prince who saved her before the wedding, and Snow White's stepmother was an ogre.

It is no secret that each of the Brothers Grimm had a slightly different attitude towards what their works should be. For example, Wilhelm did his best to soften the cruel folklore, while Jacob believed that stories should be told without cuts. For example, if the children read the tale of Cinderella from Sh. Perro not in its classical version, but in the arrangement of the Brothers Grimm, they would have learned that the evil Cinderella sisters, trying to pull a golden slipper on their feet, made serious physical sacrifices: one chopped off yourself a finger, and the other - the heel.

Bloody dramas unfold in almost every Grimm magical story. For example, Snow White's stepmother ate the internal organs of a deer, convinced that it was the insides of her killed stepdaughter, and Little Red Riding Hood stuffed the wolf's belly with stones.

Leading psychiatrists are convinced that such stories - a perversion. To tell their children is to have a negative impact on the development of their psyche.

When the daughter was small, she read Russian fairy tales to her. - HORROR: one Finist that is worth for the education of chastity. Rapunzel, though, did not take away other people's husbands. And how much cruelty, and not only the crows, kicking eyes. Soon I put the book away, anyway, many subjects were borrowed.
